Scholarship

Here at Phi Mu, the women of the Gamma Kappa chapter believe one of the most important parts of our chapter is academics.

We have an Academic Excellence Chairman, Allison Byrd, who serves on the Executive Committee and is dedicated to meet our sister’s academic needs. Allison supplies study rooms for our sisters throughout the year, especially during those stressful times of finals. She also provides incentives such as candy bags and gift cards to encourage commitment to scholarship. She maintains scholarship records of each member and provisional member, and is in constant contact with National Headquarters reporting grades.

Here in Gamma Kappa, one is required to maintain a GPA of 2.75 or above. As a chapter we set semester goals for ourselves. Our sisters go above and beyond to achieve, as well as surpass these goals. We couldn’t be more proud of our hard-working sisters, as scholarship is our number one priority.

In Fall of 2022, over 20 of our sisters made Dean's List!  Congratulations girls!!!
